i follow the nba pretty closely, but i have never seen Marcin Gortat before this series. or even heard of him. or realized poland had basketball. and yes i had to check the spelling of his name at the magic website.
with three minutes left and us up 8, stuckey attempted a save, gave it directly to turkey leg who moved it up court for a wide open three by rashard. lead’s down to five. immature play by stuckey. still a baller.
Amir will probably not see any time the rest of the way. This is sort of how they worked maxiell in a couple years ago. Most teams shorten up their rotations in the playoffs. I think next year Amir will get more minutes in the regular season and maybe will start getting some time in the playoffs.
I think it’s important to note how HUGE Mcdyess has been the last couple games. He was money in the 4th quarter last night, and got that MASSIVE offensive rebound that eventually led to tay’s go ahead bucket in game 4. Those are the types of plays that win games and that you need your role players to make. Good sign to see him playing like this.
mcnuggets might have been helped by the fact that rashard is brutal on defense. they really need to shift turkey leg to the two, rashard to the three and get a legit power forward. is david west available?
