We know drama

It’s a good sign when Max, Theo, Hermann (!), and Stuckey are outplaying the opposing team’s starters. So far, so good. Six minutes left in game one.

Also, despite my reservations (why take the minutes from my boy Amir?), Theo is playing great—and youthful!—basketball.

I skipped most of the Raps-Magic series, really the only first round series I ignored. But Dwight looked much better than this late in the regular season. And they’ll shoot much better than this (from three and from the line) later in the series. But, still, so far, so good.

Stones have not turned the ball over in 18 minutes. That’s very helpful.

Also, one forgets that Herrmann is a very talented player. Nice to have him around.

are the spurs just too good for the hornets? maybe. i want the hornets to win, but the spurs might be the only team capable of upending the lakers, even without bynum.

also, i hope no one gets fired because of that mascot fire hoop stunt. and i hope no one slips and destroys a knee.

stuckey ended the game probably 0-5. Give herrmann the ball, at least we’d get a pretty finger roll or something.

i dont think i need to notemy opposition to any sort of fire and arenas. that was really ridiculous. and yet another reason why, i dont like watching sports.

i dont need mascotts inbetween quarters to entertain myself when at an event. i come to watch basketball, not a failed gymnest fail at a stunt.

  5. sloan Says:

in his defense, he didn’t fail at the stunt, he made it. but those who put out the fire afterwards failed pretty badly.

  6. zachary Says:

my bad, i missed the stunt, just saw the botched fire extinguishing attempt
