Sean Salisbury—no friend to this blog—has been axed by ESPN. When leaving, he noted: “I have grown as much as I can at ESPN and decided to expand my horizons. I have created a brand and it’s time to expand into other opportunities in TV, radio, Internet, publishing, movies and public speaking, among others.”
I can understand if he’s trying to spin this his way, but ESPN is the biggest game there is. What kind of movies could this guy possibly make?
Kenny on the Salisbury brand:
What Brand is that? If salisbury was a cereal brand he’d be the crumbs that fall between your stove and countertop, into an unreachable space never to be cleaned until you replace your appliance. And I hope that’s where his career goes.
