I’m just really happy Lebron doesn’t play for the Pistons—I’d be dying right now.

bwahaha i’m not happy lebron doesn’t play for the pistons. Don’t lie jerry, if the pistons had managed the first overall pick instead of the second and we had lebron on our team, you would not be unhappy.
They are only selling these shoes in new york, its a limited edition for new yorkers. Once again, i have no problem with this. These are different sports, if he comes out with like a specific boston celtic shoe, then theres a problem.
yeah, obviously i’d like to have the best player in the world in a stones uni. but wasn’t that pick number one protected? i forget.
that being said, do you watch baseball at all? the yankees are the most hateable franchise in sports history. i can’t believe you don’t see a potential problem with backing the local team (where you grew up and where you currently play) and cheering for the evil empire.
We’ve been through this before. I’m less upset about the shoe. As pat said it’s a limited edition. Jerry, are you telling me if Lebron came out with a limited edition shoe with a Detroit Tiger’s theme that looked sweet you wouldn’t be inclined to buy it? Not even a little?
This bugs me, but not as much as that damn photo of him holding up his Yankees cap like it’s an NBA Championship trophy in the midst of 40,000 of his own fans.
