Korver could provide some help as a deep threat but as you said, his ceiling has already been found and his potential is capped. I don't mind the deal at all as long as brewer's minutes aren't cut significantly. I guess the one thing i always overlook when discussing the jazz is just how ridiculously bad they are at defending. Korver certainly doesn't help in this arena. Okur is a very bad defender and if he's not providing offense you are in big trouble when he's getting huge minutes. I wouldn't be shocked to see milsap get more and more burn as the season goes on. For some reason i like the jazz and the way they play. I hope they can figure things out and get back on a roll. Players that get in Sloan's doghouse (Amaechi, Arroyo) are quickly shipped out. The only reason it didn't happen with Ostertag is because he had such a horrendous contract and couldn't be moved. That said, the fact that we could land Korver for Giri and a conditional pick, which would be mid-late first round at worst, is a coup. Korver is a little one-dimensional, but he'll fill an badly needed hole. Okur hasn't been hitting jack this year and KK can camp out on the three-point line and let them fly.
